Well hello there! Thanks for checking out our website! At Horizons21, we offer the service that everyone thinks they don’t need. Yeah, you heard right. People think Facebook and Twitter is just a game, somewhere teenagers go to post too many selfies and hipsters post photos of their lunch (wait or is that Instagram…). What’s the point of being on there anyway?

According to a Pew Research Centre Study, young people between 12-35 spend up to 9 hours a day on social media each day. Can you imagine? They’re on that thing more than they’re in school or at work. That’s a LOT of time. Now, of course, the numbers vary for most people but I’m going to be the first person to tell you that I love hearing the ping of a social media notification! Someone is paying me attention!

So, for 9 hours a day, if you as a business or organization are NOT on social media, you are losing out on a valuable opportunity to connect and engage with a large portion of the population. Like, a huge, up-and-coming portion of the population. The portion of the population that is going to set the tone of our society for the foreseeable future. You ready to give up on them?

About the Founder

Sales, marketing, branding. They are fields apart, and yet work so closely together. This is what Arna found throughout her career in sales and recruitment. Never one to just settle in one comfortable role, Arna was always looking to expand her role in different ways and contribute to the team. Social Media is an area that always fascinated her, because well, it just moves so fast. And over the last few years, we’ve seen that authenticity is becoming the name of the game.

As Millennials ourselves, we know how important it is to be genuine in what we are doing. And so we stay true to ourselves and honest with our followers: What works one week or one month might not work the next.

Everyone is always looking out for the next trend, while at the same time making sure that current trends are still working! This fast-paced style really suits Arna, who is always willing to learn from what she’s done in the past, and adapt it to the future.

The future is not coming, it’s here. And even though it’s moving very fast, and we are not only keeping up, we love being part of it!
